ABOUT J.J. CALE

JJ Cale, born John Weldon Cale on December 5, 1938, in Oklahoma City, was a highly influential musician, blending blues, rock, country, and folk. Despite a low-key lifestyle, his talent shined through.

His debut album, "Naturally" (1971), featured "After Midnight," popularized by Eric Clapton. Clapton also covered Cale's "Cocaine," further boosting his reputation.

Cale's mellow vocals and unique guitar style earned him devoted fans and respect from fellow artists. His songs were covered by major acts like Lynyrd Skynyrd and Santana.

Sadly, JJ Cale passed away on July 26, 2013, but his timeless music and songwriting legacy continue to captivate audiences, leaving a profound impact on multiple genres.
